The plug-in SER-100 serial digital video coders are specifically designed to minimize parallel digital cabling by converting 4:2:2 or 4f sc parallel signals into serial signals and vice versa. Both can be powered from an individual wall plug-in power supply or from a SER-CPS single RU Central Power Supply. Alternatively, the SER-FRA single rack unit frame offers its own built-in power supply and can accommodate up to 6 SER-100/200 encoders or decoders in their standard format.
